RGA Kids Program
Build Character Through Jiu Jitsu
Most parents do not bring their child to Jiu-Jitsu because they want a fighter. They come because they want their child to be:
Confident.
Focused.
Respectful.
Resilient to handle the hard moments in life.
That is exactly what the RGA Kids Programme is designed to develop.
On the mat, children learn to move with purpose, solve problems under pressure and work with a partner toward a shared goal.
Off the mat, those lessons show up in the classroom, in friendships and in the way a young person carries themselves when things get difficult.
RGA Kids Program
Why Parents Choose RGA
Safety is Our Priority
Every RGA Kids class is run by a certified instructor trained to coach young students effectively.
Controlled drilling, supervised sparring and a coaching culture that prioritises each child’s physical and emotional wellbeing are standard across every affiliated academy.
Your child will be pushed but they will never be put at risk.
A Clear Purpose for Every Class
The RGA curriculum is progressive and consistent. Our classes do not repeat the same indefinitely. We move through a structured pathway that develop life skills and encourages personal growth over time.
Every session has a clear purpose. Our instructors know where each student is and where they are heading.
Friendships Forged on the Mats
— Discipline
— Respect
— Consistency
— Accountability
Children absorb the culture of the environment they spend time in.
The friendships, the shared commitment and the culture of an RGA academy are as much a part of the programme as the technique.
Children who train together hold each other to a standard and look out for each other in a way that is genuinely rare in modern society.
What to Expect from the First Class
Walking into a martial arts academy for the first time can feel daunting for a child and for a parent. Here is what you can expect from any RGA academy on day one.
— Your child will be welcomed by name and introduced to the group.
— The instructor will explain what happens in class before it begins.
— The session will be structured, clear and appropriate for your child’s age and experience.
— You are welcome to watch.
— The instructor will check in with you directly after class.
